Carnitas Taquitos

Ingredients
  • 12oz Que Rico Carnitas
  • 1-tomato, diced
  • Flour tortillas
  • 1-small white onion, diced
  • 1 glove of garlic, minced
  • Vegetable oil
Cooking Instructions

  • Saute onions, tomato and garlic in one teaspoon vegetable oil in medium frying pan.
  • Add carnitas and saute until warm, add salt & pepper to taste.
  • Wrap tortillas in towel and heat in microwave until warm.
  • Place approximately 3ounces of carnitas mix in tortilla, roll and secure with toothpick.
  • Fry in vegetable oil over medium heat. Turn taquito until golden brown on all sides.
  • Place on napkin to absorb excess oil. Remove toothpick prior to serving.
  • Serve with shredded lettuce, guacamole & sour cream.
