Mortadella Purses


  • 6 slice Pocino® Mortadella, thinly sliced
  • 3oz Ricotta cheese
  • Black Pepper, ground
  • Nutmeg, ground (optional)
  • 6 Chives


1. Lay sliced Mortadella flat on a flat surface.
2. Spoon about 1/2 Tbsp Ricotta into the center of the Mortadella.
3. Sprinkle a pinch of Black Pepper and half that amount of Nutmeg (optional) onto the Ricotta.
4. Fold the edges of the Mortadella up, cupping the cheese in the bottom and carefully tie a Chive around the middle to form the purse and hold it together.

TIP: When tightening the Chive knot, do so gently to not snap the chive
